Sept. 25 – Iraqi cuisine
Learn about the depth of flavor in Iraqi cuisine. Participants will create soup, vegetable fritters and flatbread and take home recipes and new combinations of flavors. Presented in Iraqi and English through support of Refuge Assistance and Immigration Services. REGISTER
Oct. 2 – Somali food
Explore the aromatic, rich flavors of Somali food. Learn to make an oat soup, black-eye pea falafel and tamarind dipping sauce. Presented in Somali and English through support of Refuge Assistance and Immigration Services. REGISTER
Oct. 9 – Pickling & Tamales
Join master farmer Ba-Lescas Brothers to learn pickling recipes for putting away the end of summer’s bounty, and perhaps a tamale recipe, too. Presented in Spanish and English. REGISTER
