Explore It: Everyday Science
Ages 10-12
Become a scientist for a week – look closely, ask questions and experiment while collecting real data and contributing to research about Alaska. Explore weather, sound, water and other monitoring projects that can be done at the museum and in your own backyard. Campers see how citizen science projects can connect them to the science community while enhancing their understanding and appreciation of the world around them. The week culminates with a presentation of the campers’ research and experiments.
Camp begins on the above date and runs through the immediate Friday.
NOTICE: Campers must submit a completed Health History Form in order to participate in the camp. Health History Forms can brought with campers the first day of camp, or submitted by email to camps@anchoragemuseum.org
