Black Belt Eagle Scout, the work of multi-instrumentalist Katherine Paul, will perform a set in the museum’s atrium featuring songs from her latest album The Land, the Water, the Sky. Her music is a unique combination of guitar-rock and inspiration of traditional elements of Native American music reflecting her Swinomish/Inupiaq heritage. Supporting Black Belt Eagle Scout is Ashley Young, a Tlingit musician based in Anchorage, Alaska who’s vocal dynamic is an array of emotional expressions and effortless warmth.
