Please join Anchorage Museum Director Julie Decker and Clint Helander for a conversation in the Bradford Washburn photography exhibition. Learn first-hand from an adventure photographer about the changes and innovations in the industry since Washburn pioneered aerial photography in the 1930s. Discover what it takes to get the shot that captures the beauty of Alaska’s peaks and glaciers in this behind the scenes with a modern-day alpinist.

 

Clint Helander is an Anchorage based photographer and lover of all things mountainous and wild who routinely works with major outdoor brands including The North Face, Patagonia, Adidas, Petzl and Julbo. His photography and writing have appeared in publications such as Alpinist
