Meet University of Alaska Anchorage Professors Dr. Travis Rector and Paola Banchero, two of the creators of the planetarium movie "A Place Like No Other". This movie takes you on a journey to the remote wild places of Alaska to observe the iconic animals and landscapes that define the state. Meet Alaskans who seek to understand the impacts of climate change on these dynamic ecosystems and strive to protect an enduring way of life. Before the screening of the movie, our guest presenters will share the impetus for this creation and stay afterward to answer questions from the audience. Conversations in the Dome combines planetarium programs with local knowledge from community experts. 

Approximately 75-90 minutes. 

Recommended for ages 10+.

Masks required for those able to wear them.
