A senior game designer at Hasbro, Ricky Katowicz is a toy designer and visual performance artist who uses a sewing machine, noise, video, drawings, costumes, puppets, and dance to communicate ideas about domestic life and the need for play every day. His work can be seen at his personal blog and on toy shelves around the world. He has shown and performed his work at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) Museum, Last Frontier NYC, Aviary Gallery, Craftland, Burnside Park, Machines with Magnets, Aurora Providence, The URI Art Gallery, Modern Fuel Gallery, La Plante, and The Sundance Film Festival. Free, use museum’s 7th Avenue entrance.
